My daily driver...

Post by canzus »

Image

A 1978 Ford Bronco, originally equiped with a 351M V8, now
sports a 460ci V8. At 8 miles to the gallon, she ain't cheap to
drive, but she gets the same 8mpg towing a 16000lb trailer...

Gotta love the big blocks...

You're lucky you're not paying $7.8 per US gallon!

Mmmm, BIG block Bronco, allways fancied a bronco, but an early 289 car,
And yes fuel is expensive over here, and in reality as the US gallon is bigger than the Imperial gallon its probably nearer $10 per Gallon
THE SMOKING GNU
12.604 with an old boiler of a RV8 and no gas
WHY are there so many IANS on this site???????

1 US gall = 3.78litres
1 UK gall = 4.54litres

1 UK gall is about £4.54 which is about £9.08
1 US gall is about £3.78 which is about £7.56

I think!

LOL unfortunately they went all metric and unfortunately a Scottish litre is the same as everyone else's at a quid a pop.

Sounds about right, I paid US$3.75 per US gallon for Super unleaded
this morning, or roughly GBP2.25 per Imperial gallon...
