Now that is one mean machine, I like it a lot... I had a 1380cc mini van once thought that was fast, used to rev to 9k but very very scary sounds at that speed.

Wish I could have done the V8 thing though Bravo.

so when making the adapter, how do you get it perfectly centered?

hi eliot

the first thing was to measure both engine and box to get the plate correctly placed. The plate was then made to fit the engine mounting holes and fitted to the locating pins.always in the correct place now.the geabox convertor was removed and i fitted a machined sleeve to the pump shaft with a end piece pressed into the end to match the hole in the engine crank.
this then makes the box fit correct to the engine.i then leveled off the engine and box.i had also to make some gearbox pins that had a small hole drilled in them to mark there position on the spacer plate.the mounting holes on the plate were drilled with a 7/16 drill to centre the holes b 4 drilling them for a 10mm thread.now the outside is getting cut off to make a neat job.

easy as that....i wish.........lol

Andy

just see your web site.

did you change the bush`s on your th350 box?

Hi Dave

Image

not a lot of room.going to work on the interior a bit more to make driving it better over long journeys, the pedals and seat position dont help, but its tight for space.
