Now this isn't my car but my dad was very keen on having this posted up hes is computer illiterate i think is the phrase im looking for.

So here it is Austin Healey 3000

Engine -
215 CI Aluminum V8, Traco F5000 Heads, Isky valve gear, Crane cam, race pistone, Chrome-molly push rods, titanium valve caps and solid lifters, steel
bottom end with girdle plate, dry sump oil system, weber 500 carburetor (used to run 4x48 IDA wber carburetors on custon intake)
on custom intake, dual point Mallory distrubutor, Superlite flywheel, hydraulic Competition clutch.

BHP = 340, Rev. range = 4,000 - 8,000

Transmission -
Chevrolet 5-speed with custom bell housing

Rear Axle - Custom built Salsbury, limited slip, aluminum housing, with Watts linkage.
4 - link Rose jointed with fully adjustable coil over shocks, Kevlar brakes.

Front Suspension - Chrome Moly unequal length wishbones, Rose jointed with fully adjustable sliding top mounts. Ford uprights, alloy hubs, coil over adjustable shocks, vane-type sway bar, F1 vented disc brake rotors, Canam-McLaren 4 pot calipers, Kevlar pads,
all braided hose, Tilton NASCAR pedal box assembly - F / R adjustable from dash.

Steering - Ford AVO rack & pinion, Rose jointed with Triumph adjustable steering column.

Wheels & Tyres - Front = 7" x 18" Dynamic Motorsport alloy - 225 x 45 ZR 18
Rear = 8.5" X 18" Dynamic Motorsport alloy - 235 x 50 ZR 18

Chassis - AH 3000 Semi-spaced, custom built fully double skinned strengthened with
integral roll cage to carry rear suspension.

Body & Panels - All aluminum fenders crafted by Trevor Hirst to my design. All inner fenders, transmission housing, and 80% of sub structure is aluminum.
Dash panel, doors, covers, and air vents are carbon fiber.

Paintwork - Chassis and coves - Titanium
Main body - New Silver
Both are Lotus colors

Exhaust - Custom built, heat wrapped

Seats - Motordrive custom made competetion

Fuel - Foam filled 18 gallon aluminum.
Holley fuel pump
Speedflow filters, lines, and rails.

Electrics - Telemetrix gauges, custom wiring harness.

Cool lookin car !!!!!

Have you seen the new replicas ( kit car, but superb looking one ) they do ?? There was a yellow one at Santa Pod one time I was there about a year or 2 ago.

I think its called a sebring have seen them but not much of a fan prefer real(ish) thing.

Link dosnt work for me, :( Nice car, im sure I have seen pics before of the car in the background of Kev the Mole-- Ians Healy/Chev, Got any pics of the Traco heads, I was trying to chase up a set last year from an old mate ho used to race Thunder Saloons, but the trail went cold, even some pics of the Traco Logo would be good, I did try contacting Traco for info, but the company, although trading as Traco dose not seem to have any real links to the old stuff, just in name,

He may be selling the engine and heads as it needs a rebuild and he knows that even after the rebuild he'll still be short 80-100bhp from my engine and it pisses him off mightily. Looks like he will be going Ford or Chevy :D :D :D
