On another similar forum it's 'MAXIMUM WIDTH - 1024 PIXELS.'

They felt the need to shout it out. ;-)

Testing 1500 Pix wide....This car was our family hearse between 1970 and 1975, i was allowed to drive it the last couple of kilometers on the gravel road up to the summerhouse every weekend around 1974...I was 15 at the time.
It made a huge impression on me, and i owned the very same car later in life.

Hi Swede
Could you tell me what those wheels are please.
They look like Cragars or similar and a mate of mine has a P6 which he is trying to get some new wheels for.
Also what size are they please.

Cheers
Paul

Paul, on the 1970 car I have fitted chevy Astrovan wheels 15X6 or 6,5...they are 5 inch bolt pattern = bolt on, but centered too far out as are all US wheels so I will have them widened inwards until they are the same depth as...say SD1 steel wheels. If you want to use them as they are you will have to run 185 profile tires and modify the rear fenders as well as slimming the metal piece inside the rear door...shortening the driveshafts 1 or 2 CM each side can also do the trick but you need to make sure the De Dion travel does not bottom out... that does only occur when the rear suspension is fully decompressed, so I do not know how much it will affect driveability.... On my old 1973 P6b I had Buick Riviera Rallye Wheels, same bolt pattern, same dimensions...I have a picture somewhere....5 in X 5lugs is a standard GM pattern You will find it on many Pickups, Vans and fullsize cars...an the Astrovan... offset is allways an issue.
Hope this helps//Joakim

Rostyles from P5b are 15X5 inches Rostyles from P6b are 14X5,5...shape differs as well so the centers were not forged on the same tools.

Yes - forgot the P5 was on 15" wheels. But that was the UK name of the style.
