1974 Triumph Stag, Rover 3.5 V8

Post by Lewis »

Picked this up a few days ago to tinker with and drive for a while whilst I try and sort a few things out (yes, I am that mad. This constitutes an sensible daily driver for me ).

It's a 1974 Triumph Stag with a quite professionally done (believed to be a really early conversion) 3.5 V8 on twin SUs, Piranha ignition, stainless manifolds & exhaust, twin Kenlowes and so on.

It's in really nice condition is a good laugh with the top down - about two shades of pink away from being a bit :t though

Extremely comfortable and you certainly get the 'luxury' feel when you're driving it - first car I've had with electric windows and power steering! :o

Thanks to Nick for the photos - will get some of my own at some point

we've got one of those with the triumph engine.
Not a bad little car actually. Isnt the power steering VERY over assisted! I find ours scary to drive!
