Our local forecast says great up to sunday then crap on sunday. National says what you say. Pod will just do what it always does mate. Either rain solid or be dry and then rain just after the track opens
Or chuck one of its surprises like twice last year when the track was empty and it stayed dry all weekend.
I'm going to knock up the extra big breather tonight just in case she gets let loose flat out..

Well!
I tried a 450 shot and got a backfire. I'm still trying to figure out why. But i reckon if I had a blower fitted it wouldnt have happened
Back out next Sunday to try again??

Hi Perry
"But i reckon if I had a blower fitted it wouldnt have happened "
I like this attitude, that is the spirit! being a more pessimistic sole, when you get the blower fitted I will buy you a blower restraint if you want
When are you running on Sunday? if I'm not collecting my gearbox (which is looking like the case) I shall come and join you and investigate just how slowley a rover 75 will do a quarter mile.
best regards
Mike

Hi Perry
I can't post diagrams for you but but I can pop over at some stage and draw it on a fag packet. In the meantime I can describe the installation.
For a system without a blower you need to mount an injector nozzel in each runner in your manifold, I think you have an open plenum one and that would be ideal, bung the carb in the back of the garage, replace it with a throttle plate of some sort, put the NOS system back in below the throttle plate.
Find somewhere to mount the injection pump and either drive it straight off the cam or drive it with a belt off the crank and a reduction of 2:1.
There is a throttle/barrel valve that controles the part throttle mixture and needs to be mounted close to the throttle so it can be opened and closed by the throttle. Most systems have a high speed bypass valve, this needs mounting aswell.
You then connect the whole lot up using fuel pipe, the nozzels are fed from a distribution block that is plumbed in after the high speed bypass valve that in turn goes in after the throttle valve that in turn is fed by the pump. You need a feed from the tank to the pump and a return to the tank that will probably have 3 seperate returns plumbed into it.
Best regards
Mike
