LPG and welding

LPG and welding

I have a few bits and pieces that need welding on my range rover(no surprise there then!!) but do i need to remove the LPG tank before getting the welding done?

depends how close to the tank , i had my exhaust welded with the tank in place , they say that they are safer then a petrol tank
up to you really ...
remember it's only a bodge if it DOSN'T worK

LPG is much less easy to ignite than petrol plus the tank is alot thicker walled. Still need to be carefull.
