If I lived somewhere like California I'd have had it polished, but thought there was little point in damp old England as I would be forever trying to keep it shiny! I really like alternative finishes anyway, espec the black wrinkle paint, used it on rocker covers too and it makes everything look more "factory", (apart from the fact it sticks out the bonnet by a foot!)

dont go for old truck superchargers the parasitic loss is high, here is mine running at 12.5 psi on a 7 LTR as you can see it is tiny also those 4/71 get very high when you start to intercool them
