To fuel inject or not?
Well after the whitest 7 months of my life I've finally got the urge to start things again, I've got the twin turbo setup on my sd1 engine with twin 2" SU carbs at moment,but after moving house I've found that my new neighbour has lots of fuel injection stuff for these rover v8 lumps, how big a job would it be to get fuel injection setup onto my engine?

It can be easy or not so easy.
Dont forget it isnt just the engine end that needs attention, so does the fuel tank/pump/lines
You could maybe retain the blow through carbs ( I assume you're blow through ) and firstly switch to mapped ignition and see how that goes. SU's are pretty good really if you can get them tuned properly.
then later on if feeling adventurous, you could start heading for fuel injection too.
So just buy an ecu from the outset that will cover both

Just depends how much you want to spend, and how much work. It will not be super cheap no matter how you do it, and I'd say to budget for close to 4 figures for a complete working setup

Likewise suck through, in which case an intercooler usually isnt an option.
Injection almost always injects fuel close to the intake valve, so there are no issues with intercoolers. So in that respect it could sort of be referred to blow through.
But the term doesnt really apply in that sense
