fuel pressure reg/filter king

Post by mcmental »

Quick question,do I need to get the specific V8 model with 85mm bowl or just a normal 85mm bowl?

It's for my twin turbo rover v8

Cheers in advance.

If you are running a twin turbo set up then you need a boost reference type regulator. Otherwise the fuel flow will reduce as the boost rises and if the boost is high enough it will reach a point where it will start to flow back to the tank.

To get a better answer you need to state the fuel pump type and if it's a carbs or injection set up.

I should have asked, Is it a blow through or suck through system?

Forget what I said about the boost reference regulator.
I assumed it was blow through.

Yeah don't need a boost reference fpr for the suck thru set up. I ran a Facet red top pump and filter king 85mm, worked well and doesn't cost the earth!
