"the Weber carbs, as I use a Carter four barrel (400cfm)"

But of course the Weber is a Carter four barrel (500cfm).

Every day an opportunity to learn :)

So is the Weber a re-worked version of the Edelbrock, which in itself is a replica of the Carter, or direct re-work of the Carter?

Weber and Edelbrock 4-barrels are identical, just badged differently to suit different markets. The carb is derived from one of the Carters, can't remember which one.
