Fuel Pressure Regulator with AN10 return?

Post by chodjinn »

Hi, I currently have an Aeromotive FPR with two AN6 inlets and one AN6 outlet.

I've got hold of a nice lightweight AN10 return line. I have no problem using these two together, but I thought there was an Aeromotive FPR with an AN10 return, but can't for the life of me find it, or something equivalent (that's not some crap Chinese knock off)?

Anyone help/advise?

Just out of curiosity...
AN10 or 14mm return??? Does that mean you have twice that size on fuel delivery... meaning you have at least a lets say 900+Ci V8 with some extra..

Thought fuel had to go to the engine to keep it spinning, not back to the fuel tank.

No that's not how it works, larger diameter for return. I had an6 throughout but decided to go to an8 feed to save me having to upgrade later when i fit a turbo. So an8 feed split to two an6, one to each fuel rail, both returning to fpr and then a larger diameter return. This is pretty common.

When i got the fuel feed line it actually turned out to be an10 (sellers mistake), but got offered another for practically nothing. No issues running the larger feed as it's down to two an6 anyway. I just wanted a matching return size on the fpr that's all, and know you can get fpr's with an10 return but cant seem to find one that's for efi.

Not quite sure what you're asking ?

You get fittings to adapt to whatever size hose you want.

And a -10 return.....as others say would probably accommodate 2-2500hp or so

Just a tad big really. but if it was free, fair enough

And no you dont need a larger diameter for the return.

I've had a -8 feed with -6 return for over 10 years and never an issue.
