Fuel coming out of a pipe on my su carb

just test ran my engine and noticed petrol coming out of one of the pipes on the carb

The float needle is stuck or dirty.
Try gently tapping the base of the carb with a timber mallet.
If this does not work then you will need to remove the carb and check the float needle.

:whs My brother's P6 3.5 Rover years ago was plagued with this till he realized that debris from the fuel tank was getting through the filter causing said valves to stick and piss fuel from the vents 8)

The plastic floats can take on petrol, the bowls fill more than they should and the excess flows out of the overflow.
