TRS TA Performance Cylinder heads

I would not discount the experience and advice of a knowledgeable Rover tuner as the Rover head (The TA is not so far different) - is a peculiar beast and I would accept such sage advice if freely given.
From what I understand about your engine and your proposed use the simple weber spreadsheets I have say that a 48 is the minimum for a carb (42mm choke) which relates to a 45 TB being minimum. @ 6000 RPM
Weber @ 7000 RPM needs a 47mm choke 55mm Carb - 48mm TB getting tight.
What Max power RPM are you aiming for and how long is the distance from the valve to the butterfly.

Also another head has been welded..
Only problem is JIG (20mm steel plate)attachment bolt is very tight in head.. Need slightly heat and hammering to get it out.. Without heating it wont come out.. All other 9 headbolts hole is ok. This is slightly tight after welding.. Need to clean hole for drill.
I spend approx 2 hours for porting to get slightly bigger ports to get TIG inside the track.. And it took approx 6-7 hours for welding etc..
We measure head straightness and we have to machine approx 0.04mm to get head back to straight.. So ok to use without milling. But for better sealing we have to machine it
Also i have to make pressure test before any machining..
Any more thoughts?
