RV8 Headers.

Hi guys.
Could anyone advise what headers to use fitting a RV8 3.5 in a mk1 cortina so need to be as thigh as poss to block.
Anyone have a set for sale.

A set of block hugger MGB ones are your best , a lot of people sell P6 ones as tight in but ive found they are no closer to the block than a set of rangey twin port ones .. if your handy with a welder you can make downpipes do their thing ..lol
Or Sd1 set they are not tight in but they do sweep towards the rear exit
remember it's only a bodge if it DOSN'T worK

Hi I use SD1 headers on my RV8 Granada Mk2 and if it helps I`ve just measured them.
The nearside are 4-inch away from the cylinder head at the furthest ( thickest ) point.
The Off side headers are flatter than the nearside and are 3-inch.
As "Bodger" says they do sweep out toward the rear.
My headers cost me £20, cheap but do the job as I only run a 3.9.
