bmw v8 oil pump help

Post by thetattoostudio »

Hi guys, does anyone know what the little feed pipe does where the pump bolts to the block?

I'm fitting a peugeot 405 hdi pump but this only has the main feed pipe, so i need to know what the other one does

thanks in advance guys

post a picture, it may help.

Never worked on one before...but someone posted a photo of a BMW V8 in their conversion, and the pump was inside the sump.
