Oil pressure sender leak

Why do they all leak? Only 1 that won't leak is a later model but that shows off the scale grrrrrrr

Don't knock it - bought a v nice BMW at auction ages ago cheap because there was no oil pressure and the engine covered in oil...

At minute I've got 10-40 in car running in then I'm putting halfords classic 20-50 in it do you think that will stop the bloody thing leaking dave?

I've never had one leak - have you got the copper washer in place?

Thicker oil is unlikely to stop a leak. Can you see where the leak is coming from? Is it from the threads or somewhere else? I've not had one leak before.
