which chain/follers for my cam
finally got the cam sorted, got a H218 Kent cam, which it says doesnt need spring mods, question is presumably i can get away with standard chain?
is there any point in different followers? its rev range is 1500 - 5000 but i dont really know what it would red line to? i will have fairly light valve train so will probably rev on a bit.

The Cloyes timing gear set is pretty good. And it gives you the option for minor valve timing tweaks by having 3 key ways. You can advance or retard cam timing by 2 degree's each way for fine tuning if required. Its a nice duplex pre stretched chain set that will last for ages.

they say it wont fit 4.6 due to the cam phase sensor, howvere this wouldnt be an issue as im not running one.
they also mention clearence but i think i read on here thats over comeable to.

As far as I know, the earlier cams will not fit inside the non dizzy type cover.
These covers are 20mm thinner than dizzy type covers.
Most aftermarket cams and chain sets are for earlier covers which includes the serp belt dizzy cover with crank driven oil pump.
If your Kent cam has the snout on the front for the dizzy cog then I dont think it wil fit into the 4.6 type non dizzzy cover.
