flapper and hotwire injectors

Post by task »

Merry xmas people, weird and possibly stupid question...

A friend of mine has a 3.5 Flapper setup with a possibly faulty injector and I have a load of spare hotwire injection parts, including two fuel rails. Is it possible to swap the hotwire fuel rail/injectors onto the flapper system without changing the whole loom/ecu setup?

Just wondering about manifold dimensions, voltage, pressures that kinda thing.

Cheers, pete.

No they wont fit, the injectors wont fit the inlet manifold as they are a different fitment. You have to change the manifold over or modify the flapper one so they fit which will take a machine shop unless you have the kit.

Hi,
and just to add something else to it, they are a different impedance, so youd have to omit the resistor pack too,
