Hi guys,
I'm just finishing wiring in the rover efi loom into my Opel manta, and I have a question in regards to the inertia switch. This is actually missing from my loom so do I still need to connect a wire from the start side of the switch and splice it into the wire from the fuel relay to the steering module?
Cheers
Paul

No bad thing. The insulation on the flapper loom goes hard where it gets hot and can crack or even fall off.paulsv8manta wrote:Thanks Dave, I've got the 4cu ecu with clip but with the wires cut off. Had to make a complete new loom.
The hotwire uses a later cable which doesn't seem to suffer. Cheapest way is to get a used one and adapt it to the flapper - but it's still a big job.
But easier to just fit a MegaSquirt while you're at it.
