inertia Switch wire

Hi guys,
I'm just finishing wiring in the rover efi loom into my Opel manta, and I have a question in regards to the inertia switch. This is actually missing from my loom so do I still need to connect a wire from the start side of the switch and splice it into the wire from the fuel relay to the steering module?

The pump won't run if the inertia switch is missing. If this is flapper injection, here's the circuit diagram. It goes in the power feed to the pump relay.
On the hotwire IIRC it goes between the relay and pump.

Thanks Dave, I've got the 4cu ecu with clip but with the wires cut off. Had to make a complete new loom.

No bad thing. The insulation on the flapper loom goes hard where it gets hot and can crack or even fall off.

The hotwire uses a later cable which doesn't seem to suffer. Cheapest way is to get a used one and adapt it to the flapper - but it's still a big job.

But easier to just fit a MegaSquirt while you're at it.

you've read my mind!
I bought this engine as a non runner. I've totally rebuilt it and I'm hoping to get this motor running first, next stage is to get mega squirt fitted with the final instalation of the Thor manifold.

One of the major costs of an EFI installation in both time and money is making up a decent loom. And there's not that much in common with the different types of injection.
