So you have taken out all the lighting?

I believe ALL tracks require working indicators and hazards

(Tracks being circuits not drag strips)

Yes. It's a race car Ian, I've got brake lights and that's it.

The regs say;

"Radiator grills and all standard lights except ancillary driving lights
must be retained in original or facsimile form. Apart from brake lights, other lights need not be operational"

So I have kept the original rear brake clusters, to wire in just the brake lights. I also need a third central brake light which is going on the parcel shelf/firewall. At the front, I am having fibreglass facsimile headlight blanks which I am making myself.
RIP MGB V8 .... served me well as a learning curve.

R32 Skyline V8 .... this one is gonna be a monster!
