So you have a speedo already ?series3-2007 wrote:hi guys, picking all your brains need a new speedo for me truck, just curious as too what you can recommend its a 100m speedo, SD1 V8 mated to an LT77
Or you need one that size ? mechanical or electric ?
Jaycar do a converter which takes in the pulses from a sensor and either multiplies or divides them - adjustable about x3 in either direction. Allowing near any electronic head to be used. Probably costs less than having a mechanical one re-calibrated. If you have no speedo drive at all it will work with toothed disc on the prop and a hall effect sensor.

I have one...that said, last few times Ive checked their site it always says no stock.
So it's maybe been discontinued.

I've got one here - would be easy enough to copy the PCB if needed.
