RV8 Plug leads

Post by martin_t »

Hi

I want to get a set of silicon plug leads but the standard length sets are not long enough to route them the way I would like. Can anyone advise a good place to purchase (probably have to get them made to order)? Also I want to get them in black which seem a difficult colour to find. anyone done this? Any photo's for me to see?

Thanks a lot

Martin

Err, I haven't done so far. These aren't 4mm corner shop made in kazakstan jobbies you know! I've put alot of my leads together like that and never had a problem.

show that set up to Trev at nozwizard and he will tell you not to run nitrous,
due to what marki said regarding cross fire.

Moroso Leads

Do they come "unmade" as standard? Not quite clear in the RS catalogue. That would be ideal. It sort of suggests that one end is all ready on?

Thanks

Martin, yep, I got a box of leads terminals and boots, and chose what was best, cut leads to length etc etc. Needs a decent crimper.

Actually, I can't remember if the plug end was already on or not, come to think of it. I did fit different plug ends on a couple because of space & angles etc. If the plug ends were already done, my ones were long straight boots. I fitted angled boots on a couple.
