Saw this on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Auto-Marine-T ... 3089507265

and wondered if it would be okay for the alternator? 2 prongs on back, 65amp output.

It says 50 amps
Any more than that and it will get hot

That said my understanding is that you could run two strands

I will be running 2 from the alternator, as I understand that is how it's supposed to be done but needed a 2nd opinion to be sure. Rather go a bit too big than not big enough and I may put a different alternator on at a later date and don't want to be re-wiring.
