Just had a thought, I have the Reliant manual that covers both the axles so when I get home I will have a look and see if anything is obviously different.

Sorry for the delay, I have been fighting with Citrix servers all night :(

Anyway here are the 2 axles.

No doubt its pretty obvious with them both side by side but from the pics I have marked the main difference for quick recognition. In case you don't know these are the mounting points for the 4 bars so if its a look under the car its an easy spot.

Hi, sorry to butt in but on the subject of rear discs I've done this and had some extra backplates made up to mount the calipers if you're interested.
