ZF4HP24 drive plate bolts

Post by ratwing »

This is about the smaller plate bolted to the torque converter (it's the biggest of the three sizes as used on the 4.6 engine) not the big flex plate with the ring gear - the smaller plate attaches to the crank adapter with four flange headed grade 8.8 M10x25mm bolts, I'm missing these and I think they're part number FS110251L.
Genuine LR bolts seem a bit steep at a fiver each so is there any reason why I can't just use ordinary grade 8.8 M10x25 flange bolts or am I missing something obvious?

Not sure of the difference but the part number I found was FS110251M, when I Google there were big variations on price from 1.19 to over 10GBP. I couldn't find the grade of them, lots of LR bolts are 10.9 not 8.8. I would probably go with 8.8 though at a pinch.
