LT77 Parts help

Post by mike97 »

Hi folks,
Just stripped the remote housing (SD1) on a lt77 and have found loads of wear in the bushes that support the selector rod to the remote housing.
I'm having trouble finding replacements. Rimmers are out of stock and I can't find anyone else who supplies them. Any ideas? Pt no. is TKC 3796
Thanks
Mike

If you can measure the bush, a good bearing shop should be able to supply one, BL , often use standard easily available bushes off the shelf

Are the archives of the previous V8 forum still available, because there will be a thread in there.....

The bushes are a Deva metal type and quite commonly available from any bearing suppliers. Might be Deva DU type or Deva BM can't remember.

A fellow boarder ( Dave from MK ? ) got some after I found a part number and kindly sent me a pair, but I don't have the emails from that long ago. :(

edit:

little bit of googling and searching my archives has turned up the following:-

www.ggbearings.com

Regards,

Dave

Thanks for the help guys,

Had not thought of going to the local bearing supplier, in fact Ashley Power is only about half an hour away, might give them a call.

cheers mike
