It must be me, but I still don't understand what you're asking.poo slinger wrote:what i mean is, are there only 2 diffrent types of connections on the gearbox end of the cable?
There are alternate drives (and internal gears) for different rear axle ratios on both mechanical and electronic types. As far as I know they are all interchangeable, but you do have to use the correct drive gear which is inside the box.

All the RV8 LT77's with a speedo cable are the same fitting at the gearbox end. The electronic speedos don't have a cable, but the trigger unit fits in the same place as, and can be replaced with, a mechanical unit.poo slinger wrote:well i am after getting a speedo cable made to go from lt77 to my ford gagues,
its the gearbox end of the cable i need to find out,

If it is the gearbox from an 'injection' SD1 (which would be a Vitesse, as the EFI is only auto) then it will have a drive for an electronic, not mechanical, speedo. Unless it has already been changed.poo slinger wrote:so i will have to get under the car to determine what one?
