which 5 speed g box do i have?

rkc 0615
v3358
bsk1
v3334 (on the main casing)

Give us a clue, there are lots of 5 speeds, is it of Rover origin? don't recognise any of the numbers you listed :wink:

all i know its was bolted to the back of my rv8 (a early v8 from a p5)
it looks like the lt77?(i have seen these on ebay)
i will look and see if there are any more numbers on it

P5B's V8's are auto's

P6 manual's are 4 speed and have a long bellhousing coupled to an aluminium cased box.

May be post a pic if you can
LT77 number is on the RH side lower case (rust/cast bit) on a plinth

Sd1 nos start 17A xxx/19A... 28Dxxx if you catch my drift, could be out of a sherpa possibly but Nos aren't right you've listed

Is reverse left-up (LT77) or right-down (R380)?

1 box has 17a1262380 (cast on the right hand side near the base)
the other box has 19a 026920(very hard to read this one as it was stamped on the underside of the box near the bellhousing)

I would go with the stamped one but either way its an SD1 box

17A is a 2300/2600

19A is a 3500 V8 box

Both will fit

Either will do depending on condition more importantly, depends how you look at it, the 19a may have had a harder time :shock:
