Head gaskets, exhaust manifold gaskets and probably valve stem seals. postage from rock auto seemed a tad expensive, that's why I looked at uk suppliers, there not as cheap as rover stuff

Who stocks the chevy LS gaskets in the uk ? looking for a top end set

One of these and divert it through an extra silencer ?

Should there not be sealing rings round the oil feeds on those gaskets ?

Did you clean out the block holes before assembly, was there oil in these? has the heads and block been possibly over skimmed and the bolts bottoming out before compression of the gasket starts ?

There lock wired as standard from the factory, most of the cobra guys do it, or as I did thread" lock" , sealer was probably the wrong word !

What's the thoughts behind using the jag diff ? are you going to wire lock or use thread sealer on the 4 top bolts ?

If I remember right theres a time function somewhere that can be altered to allow a set period of time between the forum "removing" new post, might need a tweak there

Wonder if it's not just a sticky lifter taking time to pump up, as stevie says, nothing a long screwdriver and an ear drum wont sort
