Head gaskets, exhaust manifold gaskets and probably valve stem seals. postage from rock auto seemed a tad expensive, that's why I looked at uk suppliers, there not as cheap as rover stuff :o

Did you clean out the block holes before assembly, was there oil in these? has the heads and block been possibly over skimmed and the bolts bottoming out before compression of the gasket starts ?

There lock wired as standard from the factory, most of the cobra guys do it, or as I did thread" lock" , sealer was probably the wrong word !

What's the thoughts behind using the jag diff ? are you going to wire lock or use thread sealer on the 4 top bolts ?
