Looking in my, 'Haynes book of facts which shouldn't be taken too seriously' I see that the compression pressure for a 10.5:1 should be 175psi. The 9.25:1 should be lower at 135psi and the 8.5:1 should be in between at 155psi. :shock: ermm.. I would assume they have the last two in the wrong order s...

I have noticed that the shims under the rocker shaft pedestals are quite thick? Does this look right? Shims are quite thick, but maybe this is because the heads have been skimmed to get the CR back up somewhere reasonable? More importantly, those rockers look like standard alloy ones!
