What gearbox are you using?

Tom.
At the moment a modified T5.

The beauty of going with the 35 is that the kit is already designed to fit the TVR. Eann Whalley has fitted GT35's to 10 TVRs already. I will be giving him the turbo tomorrow and having a chat about other details. Will look like this when done http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd117/dbv8/Mobile%20U...

I ordered it on Friday. Just seen your email Stevie.... too late now. Its a genuine GTX3582r T4 1.06 A/R and 3" V band. We reckon it will work well. After seeing my mates Chinese copy GT3582 give 573 bhp at 18 psi i ordered this one straight away. Simple fit. With 30% more efficient heads (wildcat) ...

Bespoke inlet?

It looks like we wont be trying to modify the Rover inlet for the wild cat heads so am looking for options.

I like the look of something like this

Need ideas and recommendations on someone that could make one for me.

What's the engine spec?

Tom.
It's a crossbolt 4.6 with low comp forged pistons, TVR heads stage 4 I think, TVR hydraulic cam, ported inlet, 72mm plenum, mega squirt 2.

Macs recently converted to a TKO 600 with an RST clutch. Also has Dave Mac driveshafts.

Thanks for that Stevie.
How would that GT4094R stack up do you think?

Might still be interested.
If its a possible solution then could i have it for trial fit?

Turbo dynamics have offered to send a dummy EFR for fitting trials. Maybe i should ask them to send a larger one

words from turbo dynamics.... I’m afraid the GT3582 is not really going to help you achieve the kind of power figures you are chasing. A GTX3582 would suit better and be good for 700-750bhp but is probably a bit on the small side for a 5L displacement. We are also a distributor of BorgWarner turboch...

I was offered a BW from turbo dynamics with a good discount but heard there were some bad stories. I guess like most things there will be good and bad. Apart fom price i havent heard anything too bad about Garrett. We have chosen a T3 due to size really. Space is a little tight. Also the fitting kit...

Which turbo?

I am about to order a turbo for my latest engine build. I think I am decided on a genuine Garrett GTX3582r T3 4 bolt with 1.06 A/R. The engine is a 5.0 rover v8 from ACR. Offset crank, Chevy rods, forged pistons. A pair of stage 1 wildcat heads. 9:1 CR. I am aiming for 550 bhp on low boost but ultim...

Intake options for Wildcat heads

So my new engine is currently being built at ACR. A 5.0 ACR remanufactured block with an offset ground crank, chevy rods and forged pistons. Roland is fitting his new Wildcat heads and we are fitting a turbo (probably a GTX3582R). Yet to be sorted is an intake manifold. Any ideas that wont break the...

I think I could have nudged a 10 if my engine hadn't detonated. The new motor is getting a turbo as we speak. The engine is getting built with wildcat heads and a custom inlet. Yet to decide on the turbo and cam. Would be interested to hear suggestions here. Currently considering a copy GT3582 from...
