Stem seals

Hi guys, I've just bought a set of SD1 3.5 EFI heads & have removed the the valves & noticed there are no stem seals. Is this correct? Are there heads without any?
If I should have them which type should I be looking at? As rimmers do a number of different types.
Cheers paul

Thanks guys, I'll go with 6mm then.

This will be no doubt the first of many questions! I've just started to rebuild a 3.5 efi block that has been sat in the garage for 20 yrs, just finished polishing the lifter gallery. :D

Lifter gallery drainage

Hi, just reading David Hardcastle - Tuning Rover V8 Engines. He recommends drilling two holes in the front of the lifter gallery which will aid oil drainback and timing chain lubrication.
Anyone know what size these holes should be drilled out at?
Cheers
Paul
