This is what I always thought was the hot wire manifold as its got the later style green stripe injectors and it 3.9 with NO extra injector

Could someone tell me what the difference / purpose of these senders ?? They both obviously protrude into the water ways so they both monitor coolent temp , is one for the gauge on the dashboard and one for the ecu ??? If your heater is always open, then you don't need to have a 2nd bypass. Chris. Never heard of this mod being done or needed. If you alter the water flow, you may make things worse elsewhere within the engine. it's a very modest power goal. 8 x 250cc's would cover it ok. If you're intending to use second hand injectors, then i wouldnt be worried about their design. If you want to retain them, then retain them. But if they do need fully rebuilt...there will just be far far better options out there. You can buy some on centre housings for Garrett stuff. IMO you'd probably be better off just making manifolds to fit some modern turbos. They'll be miles better than any of that ancient junk.
