My BW 65 flex plate fitted my 3.9 engine. I don't think the bolt spacings are different between cranks. Are you sure you have the correct flex plate to fit the converter? Did you trial fit it before fitting to engine? Pete Was the engine from a manual or auto Pete? I'm sure the crank flanges are di...

The Torque Convertor bolt holes are further apart than the holes in the flex-plate. The standard BW65 flex-...

Axle Narrowing - Any Recommendations
Hi, I need to lose about 2.5 inches from each end of a Toyota Celica live axle (I know I could use another narrower axle but I've done lots with this one!) Does anyone have any suggestions for doing this yourself OR possibly recommendations for people who can do this, preferably in the Hertfordshire...

If so how do I know how much play is correct and how do I measure it? Ch...

If memory serves correctly, there is another connection on the amplifier. The 3 pin plug you refer to has white (+12V ign), white/black (rev counter feed, coil -ve), and ground. There is also a 2 pin connection on the amplifier, and you need a lead to go between that and the 2 pin connection on the...

Hi, Thanks for the replies! The dizzy has a 2-pin plug on the side. The amplifier is mounted next to the coil on an alloy plate bolted to the inner wing. There is a short (1 inch) jump lead from the amp to a 3-pin plug. One pin is earthed to the mounting plate I have to connect the dizzy plug to the...
