Having the later style injector design also opens up a whole world of possibility with regard to substitute injectors from a whole myriad of vehicles if you wish to investigate such a thing.

I have this exact manifold on my landrover - and did that same thing as you, i.e. it replaced a working flapper top end so I could use later injectors. All works fine with thermostat in usual place. :D Heres my thread asking about plumbing at the time: http://www.v8forum.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=...

On my MS1 powered Landrover I used the guide that Elliot posted on his website to minimise heatsoak issues:

http://www.mez.co.uk/ms15-new.html

sorted it right out.

IIRC, the actual fuelling on an MS is controlled by the VE table. The AFR table is a target AFR which TS etc will use during VE analyse, but you don't want to do that if the car is running well. So if you have a good working VE table, you need to translate that into an actual AFR table. And I'm not...

*edit - Just read your post again - is the car running fuel on MS already? If it is then you can simply connect your chosen electronic device and open the target AFR table to see what is in there. If not using MS for fuel or it is but has no target table then read on... I have made some steps for lo...

The Bosch PWM valve where the inlet and outlet are at 90 degrees to each other is the way most of the Landrover chappies do it. Have a google around on LR4x4, it must have been covered a few times on there. Part number 0258017025 or such? I have had one sat on the shelf for years now - I was using t...

As Dave says - the MS docs have all been rolled up into nice pdfs now, which are better to use.

I have gen2 EDIS coils on my P6 - I made the ends up using new cable I got from polevolt or somewhere similar. My coilpacks all came with original Ford leads, so I simply reused those. With a squirt of silicon spray you can get the boots off easily and then gently prise the terminals open, fit to ne...

As above, I picked up spare 2nd hand coilpacks with leads and reused the ends on new cable. With a squirt of silicone spray you cant get the boots off easy enough, uncrimp the terminals and reassemble on new leads.

My P6 on SU's gives me economy in the range of 23-26mpg unless I go really nuts  MGB should give about the same I would have thought?

Dunno how the weight compares between the two though, perhaps the P6 is a tad heavier?

30+ on a light slippery thing like a TVR sounds right!

Vehicle shape has a big impact, also transmission losses have a large effect too! Both my vehicles have almost the same engine (3.5's): My LR 90 gets about 18mpg with EFI and EDIS (MS1Extra) 9.35:1 compression, 10 bolt heads. Standard Cast 4-2-1 exhaust manifolds. My Rover P6 gets about 25mpg with S...

It is working! :D :D :D :D I tried the LED on the stim, it was pulsing but doesn't seem to go off, rather it stays dimly lit the whole time, and pulses more brightly. I had a 1k resistor in series with it from pin 24. Twisting the RPM knob makes it speed up or slow down, so it is working on some lev...
