I would think it all depends on what you are going to put the engine in. Build a kit and you will need the Donor for the V5 to get the engine date for registration and emissions Put it in a Capri or similar of 1970 vintage and emissions is a smoke test so no major hassle (So long as you have the Cap...

Jig saw with a metal bit! (Make sure the piece is well clamped and not a lot of pressure on the blade)

Then tidy up the edges with a file or powerfile / belt sander

I don't know re the Efi but would it not be cheaper and easire to go Carb?

Unless you are in cat requirement on emissions due to engine age probably cheapest?? and easiest option

Have you tried power off the ECU and back on?

It can reset after a surge

Is it hotwire?

I have a chipped ECu to try but the fuelling will be wrong for MOT

I;ll second that

We battled for 2 weeks trying vaseline and everyhting

Finally bought the tool from real steel about £10 and 30 seconds on the drill, had pressure

Beg borrow steal a priming tool and get the drill on it

You will not regret it

Presumably you have also tried disconnecting battery to reset ECu and reconnecting - 30 seconds normally does it

Lets See Now the turns are all one way? So mount the engine canted over so the sump is outermost The centrifugal force will help the oil get back to the sump Then find your cam specs and find out where your torque max is. - probably nowhere near the 6000rpm. Then redo the gearing etc to run the moto...

Well yes hand held hoping I was on the speedo and hit the power!

Single hand steering over bumps and then hard on brakes - I must have been crazy
