50bhp transmission losses?

I was on the rolling road today (thanks Perry!), and made circa 160bhp. However I appear to be losing about 50bhp to the transmission. I'm running an LT77 and the rear axle from a V6 Capri. What could be causing such a loss? What can I do to fix it?

Dave

They are indeed for the early coil. But of a a different design. My original Ford ones have two plastic locking levers on the outside of the body - these use an sprung wire arrangement similar to the junior power ones as used on injectors, etc. They've changed since I bought some earlier this year ...

The pic on their site is of the later type which several sell. Unless I've missed something?
They fit the Gen 1 coil packs a bit further down the page.

LT77 has a different layout to the R380 I believe. Reverse is a hard shove to the left of 1st, 5th is to the right of 3rd

I have to say Ive seen a lot of poor maps done by tuners lately, this is one reason I always recommend V8D as they do know what they are doing :) The idle area will probably increase in speed with that map, and fueling will change a little, the main thing is it should allow you to lean the crusie o...

MGB V8 had one IIRC. (Although that could hardly be called a "production" car nowadays.)
Yes it does, I commented on it to the owner of a car I was looking at at Harpenden Classics On The Common this afternoon.
