Re: Warrior

The RP4 will be the most significant limiting factor in making more power. My experience of that cam is that it is a bit limited at the top end where you really need it to be strong if 250bp is the goal. My recommendation would be to go with a Crower cam, probably something like the 53233 with a set...

Re: Hello from Sheffied UK

Yes, big block Buick. With alloy heads and intake.

Not currently got a home for it but have a few ideas on where it could go.

Re: Hello from Sheffied UK

I'm a few miles off the last junction of the M62 heading towards Hull

I've often thought a Jag would be a good home for my latest build

Re: Warrior

To be honest I'd stick with the 4.0 and invest in a good cam and heads. You should be able to get a solid 250bhp out of that which should make the P6 move a little.

Alternatively I can build you a Buick 455 but that might over stress pretty much everything

Re: Warrior

Hi Richard

I'm not aware of anyone on the forum running one of Rob's Warrior engines.

All I have to add is ensure that you get exact specs for what is being offered, i.e. valve sizes, flow rig data, etc, and satisfy yourself that you cant get the same or better for the same dosh or even less.

Re: Camshaft Advice please...

Hi

Just to add a wild card my choice would be

https://www.crower.com/camshafts/land-r ... 0-cid.html

Like you say you can afford to lose a little bottom end in exchange for more power where you spend most of your time.....mid range and above.
