My thoughts on DJE have been said on this forum before, basically I wouldn't p**s on him if he was on fire so can quite easily understand the "quality" of those heads

I would imagine that an EDIS8 module would fire the LS coils as wasted spark but you'd obviously need a controller for that plus a crank trigger. If you wanted to run one spark per cylinder set-up then you'd need a dedicated controller plus crank AND cam trigger. I'm in the process of ditching my ed...

Edelbrock has a nifty little tank with a pump in it as a kit. It is aimed at the modification community to convert previously carbed cars to injection. http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive/mc/efi/fuel-sump-kits.shtml looks good but expensive on my opinion, Summit show it as $565 http://www.summitrac...

Is it possible to apply some heat from a hairdryer to the air temp sender whilst the engine is cold and then try and start it, if it starts ok then the hot air isn't an issue? hope that makes sense, it does in my own head

That'll be Bill. Works out of premises near North Kilworth. He's balanced quite a few bits for me including my current Chevy small block :-)

The way I'd do it is: - Do a datalog and use megalog viewer to see the afr trace. Open your ve table in your current msq in the same megalog viewer (mlv) frame. Draw a blank table on a piece of paper to correspond with your ve table x and y axis. Step through the log one step at a time and look at t...

I noticed in the early part of the video before the reset that the pulsewidth was lower and also the ego correction was at 112%? Could either of those things be causing your problem rather than injector timing??

As said above, Autotune is good but ONLY if you have a good AFR table as it tunes to match that. Spend some time getting that right and autotune will be your best friend 8-)

I dunno Tone. My understanding was that speed density is about manifold air pressure etc and even at idle you'll have something. If you use TPS position then you would have a zero. But I may be talking carp. Mike That explains everything Mike, I'm talking out my arse  I run AlphaN (TPS) not s...
