I would imagine that an EDIS8 module would fire the LS coils as wasted spark but you'd obviously need a controller for that plus a crank trigger. If you wanted to run one spark per cylinder set-up then you'd need a dedicated controller plus crank AND cam trigger. I'm in the process of ditching my ed...
