If you've already got a set of OEM roller lifters and the spider bar and the twin anti twist things then I can see where you can save some cash but if you have to buy all that stuff then a set of "conversion" roller lifters wouldn't cost much more in my opinion. http://www.summitracing.com/dom/parts...

Almost identical engines, totally different behaviour! Later SUs - as used on the SD1 - had electronic contro...

I think the simplest answer to your question is that as the iron block chevy only put out a few BHP as per your original post and you will need to change parts to get the horsepower you want then it doesn't matter which of the gen1 iron engines you go for as it'll probably only be the block and sump...

We're always happy to help with shipping. As a rule I can bring about 300kg over for around £150 FFS !!! I've just paid Summit Racing $53.00 to ship a part that cost $46.00 by their cheapest post option. So god knows when I'll see it ?? Their quickest shipping option for my $46 part was just under ...

Coops (and possibly Phil) I struggled with -6 fuel pipe to get good fuel pressure at all rpm/loads so have gone up to -10 feed to pump (bosch 044) and -8 to fuel rails. Although in theory -6 should be good enough (3/8 bore on flexi pipe) I found that on solid pipe sections and connectors the apertur...

My first thought was that your fuel table is too lean just off idle. Find your idle point on the map and just above and to the right increase the fuelling by 20%in a 4x4 block and try driving the car, it'll probably be too rich then but it should answer whether being too lean is the fault. If it mak...
