Are they stainless or mild steel, mine are stainless and the reason I want to do it is to lower the under bonnet temperature.

If you are on a budget then dont go down the LS route as its expensive to get all the adapters etc to work properly, is this going to be a competition vehicle or for pay and play? My headers are stainless so they should in theory not have the same issues with corrosion etc. Camcoat will do internal and external so you are getting 2 coatings where as the other one is a single coating. Can anyone recommend a company to get some headers ceramic coated, I have looked at Zirtec and one other just wanted to know who else is out there doing this.

Yippee MOT passed however advised of a leaky exhaust where the headers meet the downpipes, took it back to Powerflow who built the custome exhaust and they are going to install some nice shiny new V band clamps instead of the 2 bolt flanges so that should cure that one. Coops, I am in no way an expert but looking at the advice on here I would stick with a 4.6 as that should be a stronger block with thicker cylinders etc. Once you go to 5.0 and boosting that is going to put a hell of a lot of strain on an engine with very thin cylinder walls that you want to be reli...
