Quick question, why do your fuel and ignition load percentages not start at zero? I have no idea  I'm using speed density for both fuel and ignition if that helps. :? Mike I use speed density too and my tables start at zero which is where the car idles at as there is no load on the engine. Al...

I did that same conversion some years ago. I struggled to find a supplier and eventually John Eales made me one up, wasn't too bad price-wise too, compared to the price of realsteels kit

I have no knowledge on turbos so excuse the ignorant question but is it ok to run a single turbo off one side of a V8 or will the obstruction on one side upset the engine??

I've often wondered of the benefit of having a twin plenum which just goes through a Y piece to a standard AFM, surely that would limit the air entering the system??

Hi So why not buy an LS* chevy, they cost less (a whole long engine is about the same as getting a rover block top hat linered) produce about twice the power as standard, can be cheaply tuned, are smaller than the rover and as they have a modern combustion chamber and modern valve gear they can eas...

When I fitted a hotwire system to my first cobra the car would often cut out when pulling up at junctions, it had no speed sensor. A friend drew me a basic wiring diagram (which I no longer have, sorry) whereby I used a zenner diode from the standard electronic speedo output (LT77) to fool the rover...

Following on from Perry's post, I found these which may be a cheaper and simpler way of doing it as I won't need any extra fuel lines then, the ecu can do it :-)

You are talking about the NOS Noszle system Tone. Heres a link http://www.mustangandfords.com/how-to/engine/71219-noszle-wet-nitrous-system/ Cheers Pel, seems a way of doing what I want but wasn't what I was thinking of. Like I said, I may have dreamt the whole fuel and nitrous combined injector :-)

You thinking of sticking NOS on your Cob? I would have thought that you could just get your 'normal' injectors to fire in the extra fuel when the NOS is running, all you need then is a load of foggers to inject the NOS. If you are going for a reasonable BHP shot then you will need to back off the t...
