I would think it would be ok, I think crank sensors only really dislike HT levels, you see quite a few cars with front end mounted sensors and alternators nearby. if you're concerned give it a nice shielded blanket to hide inside

sorry to reanimate an old thread but can you use flat sheet and fit it to a curved door frame or does it have to be shaped to fit the door? Also is it legal in a road car?

cool, cheers guys, I really am just looking for some ideas. The mid plate and supporting framework isn't in yet but as you can see from the pic below there is nack all at the bottom of the screen

mmm, nice. I do tho prefer the older ones, before the whole VXR plastic fantastic thing started up and the idiot with the 'macho' 1.6 corsa vxr started droning down my road!
