Do you know whether your EFI heads were 36cc chambers or 28cc chambers? (It could be that the 14 bolt heads were all 36cc but I can't quite remember) If they were 28cc then your CR will still be very high even with comp gaskets. Hopefully they were 36cc chambers therefore when they were used with c...

Hi John, As far as I am aware, there is no problem with fitting a pair of pistons complete with swinging needles from a pair of donor HIF6 into your HS6. So you have that as an option should it prove necessary in the future. See how the current set up goes once you have had a test drive. It may wel...

Thanks ChrisJC, ged, mgbv8, RoverP6B Ron 8-) I know when I had the car I could get 5 gallons of 5* for a £1 if I shopped around with Green Shiels Stamps!! anyway back to reality. The composite gaskets and the heads should take the CR down to 9.5ish -1 so that is good for 95 oct! needles KL 0.090 Jet...

Thanks for the info Andrew, I have a new set of guides to go with the new valves so I want to turn down the new valve guides to take the latest seals before fitting them, and I wondered if I had to shorten them by the amount of the seal which would overhang, or is the guide the same length ? Thanks,...

I have a pair of Efi ERC 0216 heads to go on my 1969 P5 coupe which I have owned for 39 years. The reason for changing the heads is I am fed up with trying to run smoothly on 95oct the engine has only done 38700 and will last me out  I would like to fit the later type stem seals but the guides...
