Thanks for the quick response mate I have had a measure up and your rad is way too tall I'm afraid ! What I need is something which is about 30" wide by about 14" tall !

What rad are you using ? Sbc

I am putting a sbc which is basically stock into a minor I would like to know what radiators other people have used (which cool it ok) into there own cars so that I can try to find one that will work in mine :wink:

Ok Then so the 3.5 impulse purchase may have been an un wise move :(

What would you recommend ? Keep an eye out for a larger capacity rover (what size ?) or just bite the bullet and go for a 302 ford on efi ?

Realistic power output ?

I have just purchased a 3.5 efi rover v8 to replace the 24v v6 cosworth in my capri . The 24v lump puts out about 200 bhp and returns about 27 to the gallon . I am going to rebuild the rover and obviously I would like a bit more go so what sort of spec would you recommend to get over 200 horses with...

A mate of mine uses him whenever he needs a tune up ! :D He recomended him to me but I never got over to him as the crankshaft broke !!! :o before I could get over there

Well I was going 302 but I saw a Rover on Ebay in my home town and had a cheeky punt got it for 36 quid with efi !! Hopefully pick it up this weekend ! I'm now just convincing my self that I have done the right thing :? Demo2 I think your missus can have her gearbox back now thanks anyway !! :lol:

I had ebc's all round to start with had to change a set on the quick so put some halfords ones in but it didnt make any difference. That was why I thought it was the servo :?

Your four pots do look nice I'll have to start searching the local breakers and see what I can find 8)
