Re: Megasquirt - RusEFI
Speak to Phil at www.extraefi.co.uk He'll sort you out with what you need. Regards, David I can heartily recommend Phil as well. He was very helpful when I was a novice trying to get an LS1 working with MS. I was really struggling to get a clean cam signal and he was very helpful with adjusting the...

Re: your thought please
Better of with an Alloy LS engine then, money per horsepower speeking... My thoughts on the 3.5 RV8? Forget it, LS is where I'd start... pick up an LS1 and a set of https://speedmaster79.com/chevy-gm-ls1-downdraft-efi-stack-intake-manifold-system-complete-satin/ No hugely expensive compared to some...

If you have accurate dimensions (or a CAD drawing, then I wouldn't have to draw it myself ) I could CFD it for you. I'm looking at a plenum design for a V6, so it would be similar in concept in CFD.

Re: Oh the joys of an F Type
I used to have random failures with my XF. You'd start it up and [insert random function here] would not work, restart the car later and it would be fine... although there was a good chance that [insert different random function here] would then fail. When I got my first XF, it was reasonably priced...

Re: Time to start wiring the car!
You could wire the "fuel pump" relay to deliver power to a fuse box and then drive the pump, injectors and COP off fuses in that box. Then you can just pull the fuses you want to disable spark or whatever. You can always just pull the pump fuse when you switch tunerstudio into test mode to test item...

I only pop in occasionally at the moment, but that's just because I'm only really on the internet occasionally. I do check FB a lot, but that's nothing to do with motors (a particular dog breed), but when I am here I find that, as I don't currently have a V8, and my experience is LS and MS while mos...

lol, sounds about right. I went to Land Rover in Northampton when the Disco Sport was fairly new out. I wanted a test drive, arranged one with the guy for the next week, then, when I turned up, he told me one of the sales guys had gone out in the car and it wasn't available and could I come back ano...

What is it with dealerships nowadays... I've been looking to change my main car, but it's as if, unless you walk in waving your cheque book under their noses and demand to pay a deposit, at whatever price the dealer fancies, they're not interested. I've had 4 dealers promise to ring me back with the...

Any teams need a volunteer?
Hey all, I'm currently in my second module on the first year of a BSc course in motorsport engineering and am looking to gain "pit lane" experience for a race team. I am doing a couple of weekends for the NMA GT Cup team, but I'd like to get in with someone a bit more regular. Drag would be my prefe...

Build it. There are loads of LS suppliers out there and building gives you exactly what you want. You can get 500hp from a 5.3 if you buy the right bits
