new engine

My V8 ownership has been a less then successful story thus far having bought a 3.5 from a RRC about 6 years ago that turned out to be a complete pile of scrap, I learned my lesson about buying unknown engines from ebay and then collecting them in the dark. So I salvaged the low comp pistons from it ...

it looks nice and all, like a lot of modern cars do. But it's not right as a 2 door (other than Db's, that's fantastic! but mainly because it's so one-off). The whole point of an SD1 was that it was great big mother hunker of a limobarge. This new version would just get lost among all the TT's and t...

Lower mileage fully loaded perfect D2. Every time. Having owned a late facelift D1a 3.9v8 (which for the purposes of this discussion is basically the same as a D2), and driven a friends shiny new at the time D3. I was very glad to have my D1a! The D3 felt very constricted inside, everything about th...

Hi Mike, Thanks for the quick response. I've seen a few guys saying that the rear of the lt77 box casing can be swapped on is this true? Without one of each in front of me it's hard to compare and contrast. A scrapper lt77 can be had very cheaply, so combined with the free r380 I'll be getting seems...

This so similar to a question I also have that I'll just tag mine in here if marcjagman doesn't mind?! There's a chance I'll soon be getting a 3.9 Rv8 from a Discovery with an R380 'box on. I was wondering if one could simply remove the transfer box, do a bit of jiggery pokery, fit an appropriate pr...
