hi guys thanks for all your advice its brill :wink: got prob rocker cover against bulkhead, waterpump flange in line with the back of the slam panel :? now do i cut the bulkhead back or the slam panel :? :? oh and its bloody cold :lol:

thankyou for that, last one on my prefect rod was done by andy robinsons race cars { many moons ago } thats the next job after the eng/box are sat correctly, and my tunnel welded back up :D

hi ian i was looking at that idea, only trouble is the cable would have to enter from the rear of the gearbox :shock: which would include a loop system on a nice sweep. so not too tight, and by the exhaust aswell :? tony,s idea seems ok. like to see more pics though :wink: :wink:

:D yep the eng/box are sitting in the cortina thanks to you :D had to cut trans tunnel, and will slightly cut the sdi sump . the gear shift sits more forward than the ford did,with the engine right back ...... next job is to fabricate some engine mounts :? gearbox crossmember :? and the famous clutc...

well thankyou for all the parts lists that i have added to my santa, letter, but seriously, i still trying to sit the engine and box in, and trying to find out about body mods, cutting and shutting kind of thing . picked up a lt 77 box and a sdi sump tonight, to late to fit them tonight, but eagerly...

wow thanks for the info guys :shock: running carb twin choke webber 38 d/gas . trying for a cruiser with a little more go, but mostly subtle body mods, no bonnet bulge and keeping those flowing lines.

hi all newbie here, my cortina begged off the banger racers,[ too good to race ] CAME WITH NO ENGINE, now ihave a v8 rover with no box. and just wondering what would be the best way to fit this in my mk3, all the welding and poly bushings been done, lowered .... just waiting to see what would be the...
