Hi, Have you got cross boltable main caps? My engine is a non crossbolt engine with appropriate castings but the mains are non crossbolt type(std journal size), you will need cross bolt main caps, are you running a std 3.9 crank or later 4.0 large journal crank? Might be difficult to source std size...

Heard a few people shot down the RPi dual timing amp, but can't comment personally, I just advanced mine manually and have a spanner in case of LPG breakdown :wink: Sequential is better, only input I have off the Petrol EFi which can wear is the throttle pot, although there are other connections :!:...

If your petrol injection system is Hotwire it should be OK, for LPG. I have convereted my own 3.9RRC to a sequntial LPG system(and certificted), supplied through www.tinleytech.co.uk. there are other suppliers also. You will need to decide what sort of system you want, either vapour induction or seq...

Flapper injection does have it's faults, but if the system hasn't been upgraded to suit the 4.6 it'll need a few mods :wink: Would suggest as a start FSI fuel regulator (to increase fuelling pressure/response @ £70 and an uprated ECU e.g. a Mark Adams ECU with a tuning session on a rolling road :win...

My late 3.9 is a non crossbolted block with bosses, the mains are std type not crossbolt type :wink: FYI

Also need a smear of blue hylomar to complete the rear brg cam seal to complete assy :wink:

I received these seals when I rebuilt my 3.9V8 and they are easier to install that the X type seals :shock: used both earlier typewas a little more taxing :shock:
